Rwandan Drum Festival

The Rwandan Drum Festival was founded in 2008 by Ingoma Nshya (New Drum). This ensemble is entirely composed of rwandese women and is the first group of its kind, since traditionally only men were playing the drums. The festival was joined by other performances and traveled by bus through the country for three days.
